Irvine Hip Hop Artist LAMY (scott), Began making music in 2014 after the tragic and sudden loss of his grandfather

 Mr ROBERT WILSON,

Lamy a long time fan and listener of the Hip Hop style,

found a strong connection with its lyrical content, stories and emotions, along side the truly "banging" beats of Hip Hop.

LAMY - The first rhymes I ever wrote were in joking around with a friend of mine that was working security at an establishment in prestwick at the time,

I would pop over to see him during his night shifts and one night we decided to try and rap battle each other, the content and rhymes from us both surprised us but as I say at the time it was for fun.

I also did this with my brother some nights when he would come round to chill, it was here I took a more keen interest in the Hip Hop scene locally and began to listen to various local artists but the first song I ever wrote was called A BETTER LIFE,

This song was the spark that would ignite the flame, the last gift from my grandfather also my best friend was a spark of Inspiration,

As time went on after his passing I began to struggle more and more especially internally and I truly believe I lost a part of myself when he passed,

So I wrote this song to explain how I was suffering at his loss and how I had failed to cope with no longer having him in my life.

That specific song made several radio stations and did well on social media....so I bought myself the proper equipment or "within price range" equipment should I say lol

and turned a cupboard in our house at the time into a recording studio and began experimenting with tracks, mixing, producing, video and photo editing...and still working full time with a family BTW..... I know im a hero lol,

At first if im honest I had no real direction I could write and "kind 'a spit" lol but they say practice makes perfect and im far from that but I am making
